Makeroom is a project by the folks atroomfifty, offering a comprehensive solution that handles printing, packing, and shipping orders worldwide to empower independent artists sell their prints to a global audience.

Objective
To design and develop a scalable, user-centric platform that automates the ordering, printing, and shipping of artwork and merchandise globally, while also managing customer interactions and integrating easily with existing client websites.
Solution
- Designed the UI to be minimal and simple in order to exemplify the artwork on sale, keeping the art as the focus point
- Created a flexible dashboard with tabbed navigation for product setup, order tracking, analytics, and integration settings. Each section had autosave, tooltips, and real-time sync with the backend.
- Designed an interactive multi-step upload process, allowing users to preview artwork in different formats (frames, canvas, print sizes), set prices, and publish products instantly.
- Designed a visual timeline component showing the status of each order (Processing → Printing → Shipping → Delivered), giving both users and customers a clear, real-time update mechanism.
